[TRANS] Yunho “I Want To Express My Own Style"
Starting from 8 September, the musical “Goong” will begin its run. A press conference for this musical was held at the Imperial Palace Hotel on the afternoon of the 16 June.Yunho, who plays the role of the crown prince Lee Shin, spoke with ambition, saying “I’ve seen both the manga and drama versions of “Goong,” but creatively, musicals are a different genre, so I want to express my own style.”
“Since this is the first time I’m challenging a musical, there is pressure, but more than that, I am enjoying and anticipating it,” said Yunho. “Musicals are a combination of dancing, singing and acting put together as one to express emotions, and this is its charm. Personally, I enjoyed “Goong” a lot, so I thought this would be a good opportunity,” he said, explaining why he decided to take up this role.
Also casted for the role of Lee Shin are actor Kim Dong Ho and singer RUN, and the role of Crown Princess Shin Chae Kyung will be played by Gwak Seon Young and Shin Ui Jung.

[TRANS] U-Know "I Heard That Xiah Junsu Did Well In His Musical. I Want To Do Well Too"
U-Know Yunho, who will take on the role of Prince Lee Shin in the musical 'Goong', attended the press conference held on the 16th at the Imperial Palace Hotel and said, "I was worried because this is my first musical, but I think it'll be fine as long as I work hard and do well," and "Musicals mix dance, music, and acting well and have the charm of being able to express human emotions very clearly. I read the comic books and watched the drama, and I will work to make my own unique version of 'Goong'."
U-Know Yunho showed attachment to his role when he said, "Lee Shin is a lonely youth who dreams of breaking away from life, and there were times when I myself dreamed the same things during my career," and "Lee Shin and I are similar in that both of us aren't harsh, we're warm and charming. I will get in touch with my inner Lee Shin and get to know the character more."
He also said, "I heard that Junsu embodied his character very well. I want to do well too," and talked about fellow TVXQ member Xiah Junsu, who appeared on stage as a musical actor in 'Mozart!' and received praise for his debut into the industry.
Director Song Byung Joon (representative of Group8) stated, "We will of course go all out for the coronation and wedding scenes, but we will not make it completely serious and rigid; we will add a comical and sweet touch to the musical." He also explained, "We will make this a fusion stage that mixes traditional with modern to show the pains and growth of Lee Shin and his palace life as well as the love that sprouts. We will be adding b-boys to the musical as well to bring a bit of excitement."
The representatives of the musical had previously stated that there were many inquiries about the musical from in and outside of Korea and they were not wrong. On the day of the press conference, numerous Japanese fans swarmed to the location and proved once more how popular U-Know Yunho was in Asia.

[TRANS] JYJ team up with Kanye West
TVXQ members Xiah Junsu, Micky Yoochun and YoongWoong Jaejoong, who are involved in a lawsuit with their management company SM Entertainment, will be working with Kanye West - one of the most influential figures in the American pop industry - to produce their new album.
Kanye West, born in '77, is a Black American producer from the US. He debuted as a singer in 2004 with the album 'The College Dropout'. Since then, he has released 4 other chart-topping albums and received over 13 Grammy Awards. Having been the producer for Jay-Z, Alicia Keys and Janet Jackson in the past, Kanye now runs his own hip-hop management company 'GOOD Music'. (some omitted)
On the 16th, a representative of JYJ said that 'They will be going abroad soon to work on the production of their new album at Kanye West's studio. Besides Kanye, they will also be recording with Pop singer Timbaland in LA and Miami.
The above information has also been confirmed by Jae Chong (member of Solid); '40% of Avex Japan's revenues come from Tohoshinki, they are a group of extremely successful and influential artists. [TRANS] JYJ Cries “I Still Want To Continue Singing From Now On”
Popular group Tohoshinki on hiatus, has its members Junsu, Jejung and Yuchun for a new unit, and perform in Tokyo Dome for two days ending on the 13th. The 4 day tour attracted around 200,000 viewers. After the last song, Jejung commented “When I cried on the first day in Osaka, seeing everyone want to cry broke my heart. Today here, are you all smiling happily?" Smiling, he also said “Since our debut till now, I want to keep my feelings pure and continue singing”, and the three promised that, and couldn’t suppress their painful tears.
Last year in July, Tohoshinki had their first Tokyo Dome performance, and after 11 months, they once again stood on that stage. Yuchun said, “In truth, to come here again, I was a bit worried. But, because all of you we are here. Really, thank you very much!” Overcoming the problems of disbandment, the three were thankful to be able to gather here again. Junsu also said, “having the Dome filled with everyone, it feels like a dream. I’m really happy”, and as he bowed, he started to cry.
On the first day of the Kyocera Dome performance, both the members and the fans cried. Telling us of his feelings at then, Jejung said “even though it’s only the 3 of us on the stage…. the thing’s we couldn’t tell you, the sad things, the painful things and such, the tears that we’ve been trying to hold back, that we’ve thought of showing.” In the face of a complicated future, they showed sincerity, today they decided to “laugh and enjoy with everyone,” and kept smiling.
However, when they sang the last ballad “W”, which contained lyrics that alluded to hope for a reunion with the remaining members of Tohoshinki, the feelings overflowed and they started to cry. On the 28th of July, the documentary road movie of the three members’ journey of self-discovery before the new unit was active,“3hree Voices” will be released.

[TRANS] “Toki Wo Tomete” Music Box Version To Be Recorded In A CD
On the 21st of July, Orgel CD “PREMIUM ORGEL: Hit Songs Orgel Collection~ Toki wo Tomete~” from Omagatoki, will include Tohoshinki’s hit song “Toki wo Tomete”, arranged with an orgel sound. On the 7th of July, Tohoshinki’s “Midoyo” will also be recorded with an orgel sound in “K-POP Orgel Best Collection”.
On top of that, a limited box set “COMPLETE SET Limited Box” will be released on the 30th June. Junsu, Jejung and Yuchun’s DVD “3HREE VOICES” will be released on the 28th of July, and on the 30th, Tohoshinki Live DVD “HALLYU EXPO in ASIA – Closing Ceremony 3/8/2007 featuring Tohoshinki” will also be released.

- White suits for “Shelter.”
- Jaejoong and Yoochun cried at the first song.
- “been so long” was performed.
- “Rainy Blue,” the boys were wearing black suits.
* After Jaejoong and Yoochun’s “Shelter,” Jaejoong sang Im Jaebum’s “너를위해 (Noreulwihae).” It’s a Korean song that’s very hard to sing.
- They played ‘The Dome,’ ‘The Making’ and Yoochun picked a fan to go onstage.
- The lucky fan was a 15-year-old junior high school student.
- Junsu was wearing jeans and a white shirt~
- Everyone sang happy birthday to Yoochun, and they’re throwing balls too!
- Junsu performed “XIAHTIC,” followed by Jaejoong’s “Maze.” All three seems to have cried from the beginning.
- Fans were instructed to show the ‘Saranghaeyo sign’ and shout ‘I love you’ at the signal for Chun’s birthday event.
* They say that security was so tight that there were guards at every ten seats or something. (Not sure how accurate this is)

After that “Be Ready” everyone posed in the love you position
Yoochun said “What~~~?” He was very happy when saying it
Though there wasn’t a cake
Junsu says “Yoochun gets to celebrate his birthday at a concert every time, very envious. Next time, I will have a concert on my birthday too!”
That will be December 15th
There was a special guest
Not sure if this person, from m-flow, will apear every time
Songs include solos, j-pop and western style. There were new songs, and encore. It lasted for 3 hours.
At the end, there were jyj’s promotion dvd
Even though they say the encore new song is for “singing today’s feelings”

- Yoochun pointed to the lucky fan and said, “It’s you, my girlfriend.” Then he reached out and brought her up onto the stage. He said again to her, “Give me a minute.” He came back with a rose hidden behind his back. He gave it to her, coupled with a light kiss/peck on the hand!
- Jaejoong said he was worried whether there will be people coming to the concert today.
- Till yesterday, Yoochun was worrying whether or not they will still be able to see everyone’s smiles.
- The second to the last encore song was “Intoxication.” Jaejoong and Yoochun danced together with Junsu!!
(A Bigeast member stated in her blog that the trio danced to the song very well 8D)
- During the last encore song, Jaejoong said, “This is our sincerity.” And they started singing.
- The title of the last encore song is 《Ｗ(ダブル)》which means W(double).
* Yoochun’s hair is really long. His hair was plaited while the back of it was tied up as a ponytail. Not forgetting to mention this: his forehead is shining too!
