Park Yoochun and Yoo Ah In who proceeded to their own schedule after starring in “SungkyunKwan Scandal” which had ended its broadcast, continued to express concern over each other through Twitter, which attracted many attention.

Last Monday, Park Yoochun left a message for Yoo Ah In on Twitter, saying “You didn’t bring your handphone? Before I went to US, I gave you a call but your phone was switched off.” Afterwhich Yoo Ah In mentioned that “I’m anticipating this coming Saturday, Yoochun-ah, Chunchun, Small Chunchun, Yoo Sweetie”, mentioning many intimate nicknames, expressing his anticipation for JYJ’s 27th November concert and also support for Yoochun.

Hence fans said “Yoo Ah In is also coming this Saturday”, “Both of them seem close”, “I also want to use intimate nicknames for Yoochun”. At the same time, informing Yoo Ah In that there is a flash mob in the concert where audience have to dance to the song “Be My Girl” and mentioned “You must practice the dance before you come, please do not come unprepared.”

JYJ concert will give special discount to every university exam takers.

On the upcoming November 27th and 28th for two days ‘JYJ Worldwide Concert in Seoul’ will take place at Seoul Jamsil Olympic Stadium, while to heighten the expectations among fans, every candidates of university exam this year will be rewarded a shocking 40% discount of the ticket price.

For the total two days concert in Olympic Stadium, JYJ’s Seoul concert covers a stunning 100,000 seats scale. The first and second round of ticket sales had received an explosive reaction as both were sold out in less than 20 minutes, meanwhile currently the third round sales is still in selling process.

Hi there, I'm a member of staff from Grazia.

It is now late autumn, and cold, chilly season. How are you all?

In a week's time (on December 1st), we will be releasing the January 2011 issue of Grazia featuring Tohoshinki's Changmin!

Following the August issue, which featured Yunho, we will be releasing a New Year's edition with Changmin!

The theme - Sexy! All 8 pages of it!

This photo was taken on the set of the photoshoot. The ones last time were a little blurry but this was taken with a proper digital camera.

When I met Yunho last time, I was entranced by his gentleman's charm and deeply touched by the way he was so considerate of others. It seems as though Changmin has it even worse!

Putting aside the figure of a top notch editorial model, the heart warming smile and the strong sex appeal, Changmin's unique personality is perhaps his greatest asset.

Having just landed in Japan, he had a hard time adjusting to speaking Japanese and he apologized profusely to the team, trying as best as he could to convey his thoughts and considerations. As we conversed, Changmin gave me his undivided attention, giving honest, straightforward answers whilst also showing his good sense of humour.

Despite his tight schedule, he was willing to remain on set for a little longer, slipping smoothly from one pose to another so we could get as many shots as possible and present the best of Changmin to our readers.

The article will include stories revolving Changmin's career, his personal life, his plans for the future, and of course, his love life!

A total of 130 Hallyu stars will be attending a charity event to raise money for Thailand flood victims.

130 of the most successful Korean stars - actors, idols and singers alike - will be taking part in the 'Korea Festival 2010' which will commence on the 30th this month in Bangkok.

The guest list includes - Lee Dahae, Lee Jungjae, Lee Joonki, Lee Minho, Kang Ho Dong, f(x), SNSD, Super Junior, Brown Eyed Girls, U-Know Yunho, Choikang Changmin, SHINee etc.

This event is to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Thai military's participation in the 6.25 war and to give help to the 3 million victims of recent floods.

Over 150 Korean dramas have been broadcasted on Thai TV since 2006 and this will be the first ever charity event attended by over 130 Korean artists.

Finally SM Entertainment has to release TVXQ comeback with only 2 members namely U-Know Yunho and Choikang Changmin.

It’s been a year since SM Entertainment released the “return” ultimatum to the three members Micky Yoochun, Xiah Junsu, and Youngwoong Jaejoong in last November.

At that time, SM Entertainment released a statement to reporters through a public press conference, “We will start the activities of TVXQ in spring 2010, we’re welcoming them to comeback before then.” After the previous announcement, SM who had been waiting for a year, has to formulated the comeback of TVXQ to consist only 2 members eventually.

The two members will return to music industry with a new album in spring 2011, activities schedule that ranges from Japan, Korea, and all over Asia is expected to unfold. Since TVXQ was highly popular, whether the TVXQ that only consists of 2 members is able to keep the big name of their own group starting to become a hot issue recently.

SM on the 23rd at the official website, “As been implied by the preliminary injunction rule, TVXQ activities should be held under SM. We had proposed to the three members to have activities as TVXQ, unfortunately we keep hearing nothing from them. Therefore in consideration to the long future of the group, we have to make this following decision.” explaining the background of the two members’ comeback.

SM Kim Young Min on November 2nd last year stated the company’s ultimatum in the press conference through an official representative. “The recent condition implies that eventhough the three members are able to determine their individual activities, they’re still only able to work as TVXQ under our company. We have scheduled TVXQ comeback activities in Korea in next spring. Hence to prepare for it the three members have to respond to this proposal by the coming 10 days which is on November 12th.”

U-Know Yunho, Choikang Changmin also revealed their feeling through a written document today, “We will continue to keep the promise with SM. Before the other three members started their cosmetic business, we shared the same dream to be able to comeback together as well. Yet in order to have a comeback in next year’s spring we’re required to prepare for at least 6 months. So if we still want to work as TVXQ, we need to make a decision soon before it’s too late.”

The remaining three members, in the other hand, had formed a new group called JYJ and already started to mark their start by launching their first album ‘The Beginning’. ‘The Beginning’ stands for ‘a brand new start’ and is released in both South Korea and United States through Warner Music. Since a series of events occurred including three members of TVXQ breaking away from the team, we SM Entertainment (noted as SM) have been refraining from having U-Know Yunho and Choikang Changmin participate in music-related activities for a long period of over a year.

For the feelings and dreams of the two members and the company to protect 'TVXQ',
and thinking about the hearts of the fans, who have been showing an unchanging love to TVXQ, we have been waiting for a long time.

As it was stated in the injunction verdict, all TVXQ activities must be done through SM.

On November 23, SM Entertainment released an official statement announcing that DBSK would return in 2011 with the original two members Changmin and Yunho. A pop-up message on DBSK's official website announced that the three-member team of Junsu, Yoochun, and Jaejoong had decided to go their own way, and SM in turn decided in turn to move on as well.

The remaining members Changmin and Yunho had abstained from participating in any musical activities as DBSK because they were waiting for their fellow members to return. TVXQ is set to comeback in 2011.

SM Entertainment revealed on the 23rd via TVXQ’s homepage, “2011, TVXQ is returning to you all.”

SM released a statement saying,

“After the 3 TVXQ members left, for over a long year, both U-Know Yunho and Choi Kang Changmin have refrained from musical activities.

The two members as well as the company wanted to keep TVXQ alive, thinking about the never changing hearts of our loyal fans who have waited a long time.

As indicated by the ruling, all of TVXQ’s activities need to be done through SM, unfortunately, the three members that left have regretfully not responded to any of our offers for activities as TVXQ. After long and careful consideration, we made this decision.

For U-know Yunho and Choi Kang Changmin, who never left and kept their dreams as TVXQ, we have decided together with the two members to keep TVXQ alive.

No matter what happens, we believed that TVXQ should be continued for the love and trust of the fans who created TVXQ together with us.

We are not ruling out any possibilities in the future. Continuing TVXQ is the best way to repay the fans who love and waited for TVXQ.”

Starting from 8 September, the musical “Goong” will begin its run. A press conference for this musical was held at the Imperial Palace Hotel on the afternoon of the 16 June.

Yunho, who plays the role of the crown prince Lee Shin, spoke with ambition, saying “I’ve seen both the manga and drama versions of “Goong,” but creatively, musicals are a different genre, so I want to express my own style.”

U-Know Yunho, who will take on the role of Prince Lee Shin in the musical 'Goong', attended the press conference held on the 16th at the Imperial Palace Hotel and said, "I was worried because this is my first musical, but I think it'll be fine as long as I work hard and do well," and "Musicals mix dance, music, and acting well and have the charm of being able to express human emotions very clearly. I read the comic books and watched the drama, and I will work to make my own unique version of 'Goong'."

U-Know Yunho showed attachment to his role when he said, "Lee Shin is a lonely youth who dreams of breaking away from life, and there were times when I myself dreamed the same things during my career," and "Lee Shin and I are similar in that both of us aren't harsh, we're warm and charming. The representatives of the musical had previously stated that there were many inquiries about the musical from in and outside of Korea and they were not wrong. On the day of the press conference, numerous Japanese fans swarmed to the location and proved once more how popular U-Know Yunho was in Asia.

TVXQ members Xiah Junsu, Micky Yoochun and YoongWoong Jaejoong, who are involved in a lawsuit with their management company SM Entertainment, will be working with Kanye West - one of the most influential figures in the American pop industry - to produce their new album.

Kanye West, born in '77, is a Black American producer from the US. He debuted as a singer in 2004 with the album 'The College Dropout'. Since then, he has released 4 other chart-topping albums and received over 13 Grammy Awards. Having been the producer for Jay-Z, Alicia Keys and Janet Jackson in the past, Kanye now runs his own hip-hop management company 'GOOD Music'. (some omitted)

On the 16th, a representative of JYJ said that 'They will be going abroad soon to work on the production of their new album at Kanye West's studio. Besides Kanye, they will also be recording with Pop singer Timbaland in LA and Miami.

Popular group Tohoshinki on hiatus, has its members Junsu, Jejung and Yuchun for a new unit, and perform in Tokyo Dome for two days ending on the 13th. The 4 day tour attracted around 200,000 viewers. After the last song, Jejung commented “When I cried on the first day in Osaka, seeing everyone want to cry broke my heart. Today here, are you all smiling happily?" Smiling, he also said “Since our debut till now, I want to keep my feelings pure and continue singing”, and the three promised that, and couldn’t suppress their painful tears.

Last year in July, Tohoshinki had their first Tokyo Dome performance, and after 11 months, they once again stood on that stage. Yuchun said, “In truth, to come here again, I was a bit worried. But, because all of you we are here. Really, thank you very much!” Overcoming the problems of disbandment, the three were thankful to be able to gather here again. Junsu also said, “having the Dome filled with everyone, it feels like a dream. I’m really happy”, and as he bowed, he started to cry.

On the first day of the Kyocera Dome performance, both the members and the fans cried. Eighteen songs all in all.

- Yoochun pointed to the lucky fan and said, “It’s you, my girlfriend.” Then he reached out and brought her up onto the stage. He said again to her, “Give me a minute.” He came back with a rose hidden behind his back. He gave it to her, coupled with a light kiss/peck on the hand!

- Jaejoong said he was worried whether there will be people coming to the concert today.

Omasa Aya and Yoochun, who possesses mega popularity in Asia, will both star in BeeTV’s new television drama. Omasa Aya acts as a paranoid 22 year old reporter, Hinata, who dreams of becoming a novelist.

A: This is my first time acting as a woman of profession, so the clothes are different from before and my hair is dyed to a more bright color. Before the drunk scene, I had to ask the director for direction on how to do it! (laughs)

In a tight-packed schedule, the filming in the various locations in Kanto had a very amiable atmosphere. But this is still Yoochun’s first time acting in Japanese!

Y: I feel a lot of pressure, so on the first day I couldn’t really eat anything.

A: And you also couldn’t sleep?

Y: Yes, and I was still very nervous once I arrived on-set. But once I became familiarized with everyone, I became a little bit more relaxed and worked hard.

There’s happiness too when it’s just you

Debuting as a member of Tohoshinki in 2004, being called a “prodigy” from his natural singing talent has gained a lot of popularity. This time as XIAH Junsu he will release his first Japanese solo single. And also, one of the songs is composed by Junsu himself! The song contains his thoughts and about his challenge of a musical at the start of the year, including also things about being solo and so on!!

—Please tell us about “Intoxication” and “Kanashimi no Yukue” in the single to be released. What kind of feelings did you want to express through the song?
Even though “Intoxication” is a piece that I self-composed, I had wanted to try to combine black music and RnB to make a dance song. This is my first solo single in Japan, so I used a music style that I liked a lot. I think it’s a simple yet sexy and stylish dance song. “Kanashimi no Yukue” is just as the title states, I used my own sadness to express the song. It’s like.. you know when guys have a time where they’re weak and show it right? It’s like I wanted to express that out straightforwardly…

「When I have a break, I want to go to a country with palm trees, and sleep under it」

—What are the differences between solo and group activities?
The most important thing about group activities is the balance. But with solo activities, with one person, you have to keep the attention, or otherwise it won’t work out. That’s why being powerful and dynamic is a must. The points where I have to place my power in is very different, and i’m still not too used to it.

「A habit that I don’t want others to know, is that I sleep fully nude!」

—This year you also challenged acting in a musical for the first time, was there any dis-coordination?
It was totally different! As I thought, you can’t sing with a pop feel. Talking about what’s different, it’s kind of hard to say it through words… (in truth if you perform, then you’ll feel that difference!) Thanks to the musical, I learnt a lot, and on top of that, it made me really happy to hear the passionate cheering of the fans. As I thought, i’m the happiest when i’m on the stage~

—Lastly, please tell us what you want to do from now on!
Work, love, a thinking method…. I want to be a man who can excel in everything. Then, I would like to seal up my oyaji gags (laughs). If it’s a solo, then I want to compete with music!

When i’m by myself, i’ll be happy by doing these things!

Childhood times:
Because i’m always with my twin, Junho, we always play pranks on people. If there’s a girl we like, we would suddenly scare her so she would turn to look at us. Now that I think back about it, I wonder why I did those things, I regret it quite a bit (laughs).

Primary school times:
Basically it was all soccer! Recently I sometimes read back on the journals I wrote then, and 80% of it was about soccer. Sleeping, going to school, playing soccer; it was just these three things (forced smile).

High school times:
I began to be a trainee when I was 12, and I was already a high school student, thinking only of singing. After that naturally is dance practise. The me back then, worked really hard to be an artist.

After debut:
Because it was so busy, there was practically no me-time. But during the occasional break, sometimes I want to sleep, or watch a movie; these kind of things. If there’s suddenly a blank, I myself didn’t know what I should of done.

Recently:
Recently i’ve been busy composing. When making a dance song, I would just dance randomly to it too. Because i’m by myself, so I don’t have to worry about others seeing me (laughs). In the end, if you don’t listen the song and just dance to it, it just wouldn’t work.

[TRANS] Yoochun Was Nervous The Day Before Filming Commenced For 'SungKyunKwan Scandal'

Yoochun, who will be one of the main leads for the new-age historical drama “SungKyunKwan Scandal”, was feeling nervous the week before he was scheduled to begin filming. “SungKyunKwan Scandal” will be broadcast by KBS this coming September, and is based on the popular novel “The Lives of SungKyunKwan Confucian Scholars” by Jung Eun Gweol. Yoochun will be part of the “Modern F4” and will be taking on the character of the leader of the group, Lee Seonjun, who is overbearing and a mummy’s boy at the same time.

A representative for Yoochun expressed over a phone conversation with OSEN on the afternoon of the 20th that “As the eve of the first shooting drew near, Yoochun started to practice his lines. He had received a lot of help from the seniors who are acting with him” and “because the words and tone used in the drama differs from modern day conversation, he has been spending more time and effort to practice [his speech]. He is also currently learning how to ride a horse.”

He also added, “As this is the first time that Yoochun is challenging acting, he is feeling both excited and worried at the same time. He is quite distressed over his own role and is in the midst of preparing himself well. We hope that everyone will look forward to and support his performance.”

On the other hand, decisions regarding the key female roles “SungKyunKwan Scandal” are also in their final stages. The list of cast will be confirmed either this week or next week, as they plan to commence the first session of filming.

[NEWS] Dong Bang Shin Ki trio’s new group name ‘J.Y.J’?

Ahead of their Japanese fanmeeting concert coming June, it is known that Dong Bang Shin Ki Xiah JunSu, Micky YooChun and Hero JaeJoong will promote under the nickname of ‘J.Y.J’.

Previously an official announcement came that the group will discontinue their activities as Dong Bang Shin Ki after the 3 members’ discord with their agency SM Entertainment. And coming 5th June, the 3 members will hold a large scale fanmeeting concert in Tokyo Dome, and they will be holding the concert as ‘J.Y.J’ made up of the initials of each of the members.

A representative of the 3 members revealed on 19th May, “Ahead of their event, AVEX has decided to go with ‘J.Y.J’ for the logo for the concert. Even though they will promote as J.Y.J for the concert, it is not their confirmed group name. We will not know the group name until AVEX releases an official announcement.”

Idol groups seem to be evolving every day. Some of them are honing their talents in the composition and lyrics fields. They are showing off their ‘musician’ sides by including their compositions in their albums.

The representative of these new composing idols is the group TVXQ. All the members of the group are capable of composing and writing lyrics.
They have released around 20 self-composed songs in Korea and Japan. It is said that they have around 100 unreleased songs that they composed and wrote lyrics for.

On a women magazine which was sold on the 18th, the model she got a “crossing arms date” scandal with Tohoshinki Jaejoong, Yano Mikako denied it on her own blog on the 19th. She wrote “As I heard it I was confused… nothing like that happened so everyone, please don’t worry”.

[TRANS] SM's Application To "Enhance" "Dong Bang Shin Ki" As A Trademark Has Been Withdrawn

SM, the company which manages DBSK, has been informed about its withdrawal regarding its trademark application for the name "Dong Bang Shin Ki".

SM, who had applied for the trademark application for "DBSK" to the Patent Office in August last year, later withdrew their application towards the end of the year.

A SM spokesperson cleared the issue with Newsen on the 19th over the phone, stating that "it is a fact that we withdrew the trademark application for the name "DBSK" late last year" and "[we hereby also] announce that the enhanced document is also withdrawn.".

While the trademark application is currently cancelled, one cannot rule out the possibility that SM might once again apply for the enhancement of the trademark name of "DBSK".
